The Shanghai Jacket is a standout piece from the Shanghai Collection, drawing inspiration from classic Chinese Mandarin collar shirts. When creating this jacket, our goal was to preserve the traditional Chinese essence while integrating elements of French workwear. 

This design allows easy pairing with T-shirts, denim, shirts, and trousers, seamlessly blending into modern life. The relaxed and casual natural fabric and tailored silhouette complement each other to create a sense of relaxation and elegance. 

Crafted from a luxurious blend of wool, cashmere, and mulberry silk, this jacket combines the warmth and comfort of wool with the subtle sheen of silk. The rich brown body is accented with deep orange lining on the cuffs, offering a modern twist on traditional Chinese jacket design. Perfectly suited for pairing with a variety of autumn and winter pieces, this jacket brings a refined elegance to your seasonal wardrobe.

The entire piece is handmade by traditional Shanghai tailors from our own workshop - Atelier 021, restoring the exquisite and classic style of the old Shanghainese.
