Inspired by the “Freezer” cold-weather jackets from North American outdoor workwear, this piece has long been a Ficus signature. This season, we reinterpret its winter-ready protection with a new urban perspective, using a water-repellent flannel as the foundation. The fabric is sourced from Fox Brothers—renowned as the “King of Flannel.” Its rare indigo dye combined with a soft, velvety nap evokes the look and feel of vintage denim, while the technical membrane on the reverse side preserves the natural hand while providing excellent wind- and water-resistance.
The design continues the functional spirit of classic work jackets: slanted pockets at the sides and hem keep hands warm in cold weather while offering convenience and storage; the raglan-sleeve construction allows for freer, more fluid movement. A drawstring at the collar and ribbed inner cuffs help block out cold air and enhance insulation. At the back of the collar, a concealed packable hood unfolds into a bright yellow waterproof hood—adding both protection and a distinctive visual accent to the layering.
